About the range: transfer and color casings

Our value-added casing range also includes specialized transfer and color casings supplied through World Pac International, which add smoke, caramel, flavor or color directly onto the product during processing.

Sun Smoke, Sun Caramel and Sun Flavor are high-barrier casings that transfer smoke, caramel color, or a combination of both, directly onto deli-meat slicing logs or cheese during cooking — eliminating separate smoking or coloring steps.

Sun Color CAS is a high-barrier casing with an edible color and pattern printed on its inner layer, which transfers onto the product's surface during processing.

Sun F and Sun Color F are smokeable, pre-stuck fibrous films with a special easy-peel coating — a replacement for collagen, carrageenan and cellulose flat films — with Sun Color F adding a printed color transfer, popular for roast beef and Black Forest ham.

Sun Spice V, Sun Spice RS and Sun Spice FS are smokeable spice flat films and spice casings, available in tape-sealed casing formats for easy handling.

Sun Flavor Gourmet is a spice-coated casing available in shirred strands for high production efficiency, offered in both high-barrier and permeable versions to match different product and process requirements.
